- We never sell your data.
Who we are
Periodic Element Table (com.orbitra.periodicelementtable) is published by Orbitra, the Google Play developer. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Orbitra. Privacy contact: [email protected].

What we don’t collect
- Your name, email address or any account details — there is no account.
- Your advertising ID, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone or files.
Device permissions the app uses and why
- Internet — To load PeriodicElementTable.com.
- Network state — To show the offline screen, with a Retry button, when you have no connection.
The app asks for no other permissions. Printable PDFs are handed to your browser or download manager.

How we use data
- To understand which pages and tools are useful, so we know what to improve.

Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data is only passed to the service providers listed above, who process it for us, or when the law requires it.
Retention
- Analytics data is kept for 14 months. TODO(owner): confirm the GA4 data-retention setting
- Cookies stay in the app’s web view until they expire or you clear the app’s storage.
Deleting your data
You can delete your data at any time. The steps are on the Periodic Element Table data deletion page.
Security
Data sent over the internet is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Data stored on your phone is kept in the app’s private storage, protected by the Android app sandbox. No method is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to a minimum.
Children
Chemistry is studied by students of all ages. Periodic Element Table is meant for people aged 13 and over. TODO(owner): confirm the target age group in Play Console (recommended: 13–15, 16–17 and 18+). If it includes children under 13, Google Play’s Families Policy applies and this section must be rewritten
Your rights
Europe and the UK (GDPR / UK GDPR): you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to its use, and get a portable copy. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA / CPRA): you can ask what personal information we hold and ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information.

International transfers
Google services may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Google uses safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.
This policy covers the Android app. The website’s own privacy policy (opens in a new tab) also applies to the pages shown in the app. Microsoft Clarity, Ahrefs and Cloudflare may also process data outside your country.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. Important changes will also be shown in the app.
